I prefer to work with sustainable materials, expecially salvaged wood. I enjoy the challenge of bringing new life to antique pieces that might otherwise be thrown out.Pieces that are intended to be used by children are coated in a Spar varnish, ensuring that the surfaces will not only be easy to clean, but waterproof and virtually unscratchable.

I just found your blog for the first time! You should totally post stuff more. I'd love to see pictures of some of the stuff you're working on these days.
Claire loves playing with the blocks at Grandma's house! I do have to comment that bunny teeth have no problems getting through the varnish on the great wooden blocks, though. :o)
